Welcome to The Bay

Pants: H&M Shirt: Urban Outfitters Sweater: Target Purse: Calvin Klein
Boots: Old Navy Coat: DKNY Necklace: Charlotte Russe Sunnies: Thrifted

It's been a week since my big move and I am definitely loving the California lifestyle. I know it's
only been a week but honestly since the move I find myself more peaceful and happier with life.
New York was great and all but the past few years I started having a love and hate relationship.
I'm just glad I left before I resent the place. New York will always have a special place in my
heart but San Francisco I'm ready for my new adventure.

Ghirardelli, chocolate heaven!

Wishing you a Happy Holidays .. Thanks for stopping by.

Going the Distance

I'm sorry for the lack of blog post but these past few days have been crazy busy and life changing.
I do have some exciting news to share with you guys. The reason I been missing in action is
because well we're moving to San Francisco, CA. yay! So, we're finally leaving the east coast
lifestyle and trading it for the west coast. The hubster is heading out first to get everything situated
for us. Which means the next few weeks there will be lack of outfit post. :(

Instead of outfit posts I'm going to use my last few weeks in New York City to capture everything
and anything New York. I still have a few items on my bucket list that I need to tackle.

Thanks for your patience.

Spectator

We spent our Sunday morning cheering our good friend during her 1st marathon. By the way kudos to
anyone who has ever had to endure running 26.2 miles. I applaud you. It's definitely inspiring to see all
the runners push themselves to achieve their goal, especially the older runners. I've always been athletic
but running was never my forte. While witnessing my friend mentally and physically prepare herself for
this huge challenge it got me motivated. It inspired me to sign up for the SF diva 1/2 marathon.
With motivation and will power anything is possible.

Jacket + Sweater + Boots: Old Navy Jeans: Levi's Necklace: Forever21 Sunnies: Ray-Ban

We did have a pre-marathon dinner last Friday at Fletcher's Brooklyn Barbecue . It's nice to have a bbq
establishment open in the park slope area. If you happen to live in the area it's definitely a great place to
get some yummy bbq. My favorite has to be the briskets but the sticky ribs is also very succulent.

Thanks for reading

Quick Post:
Yesterday me and the hubster celebrated our 6 months wedding anniversary. The weather was sunny
and warm so I decided to wear my wedding rehearsal dress to honor our special day. It's a beautiful
lace dress and I wanted to make it more causal so I decided to pair it with my recent purchase from
Old Navy. Can you believe I got this awesome jacket for $24. Anyways, enjoy the rest of week and
Thanks for stopping by. :)

First Snow Of The Season

Dress + Faux Stole: H&M Sweater: Saks Fifth Ave. Coat: JCP Boots: Hunter Glasses: Warby Parker

I really don't know sup with the weather in the northeast. Last week was a Hurricane. This week was
our first snow of the season. What's coming next week? An earthquake? Hopefully not. I wanted to
take advantage of the beautiful snow so me and the boys had a little photo op. The boys especially
Bosco (black+white) he loves to run in the snow. Don't they look so cute in their water proof coats?
I just adore the 2nd photo we're all looking away from the camera.

Thanks for reading! Enjoy the rest of your week!

Calm Before The Storm

Trench: DKNY Skirt + Belt: Forever21 Plaid Shirt: UO Chambray: H&M Boots: Hunter
Glasses: Warby Parker

As some of you may know there is a hurricane heading to New York. It's ironic I left New Orleans
7 years ago to avoid all this hurricane business. After Hurricane Katrina's devastation I was ready
to move away and now I'm force to prepare for this megastorm. Though this huge storm is coming ..
in good ole new york fashion .. people were still out and about doing their thing. I had a friend's
birthday celebration at Hill Country and this is by far my favorite BBQ joint in New York. The
food is amazing but I think the reason why I like it so much is that it reminds me of home. Everyone
knows the south cooks the best BBQ and Hill Country will not disappoint you. The best thing in the
menu is the moist briskets. Words cannot describe how freaking delicious it is. Just go try it if you
happen to be in the new york area.

Wish me luck. Hope our electricity doesn't go out.
