BBB "Birthday Brunch @ Brasserie"

A few weeks ago I celebrated my 27th birthday with a few close friends. I didn't want to do anything big since next month I'll be celebrating my birthday again in Flordia/Bahamas with my girlfriends. I decided to have my birthday brunch @ Brasserie 8 1/2 located on 57th street between 5th and 6th avenue. When you first enter the restaurant your welcomed down a long spiral staircase. The interior inside is decorated with very bright bold colors such as orange and green. The restaurant's brunch is buffet style and they offer so many wonderful tasty foods. My favorite has to be the mushroom grits and the eggs benedict. They also offer an array amounts of yummy sinful desserts. The brunch was very succesful everyone enjoyed the food and company .. Thanks everyone for making my 27th special :).

I'm not officially back. The summer has been very hectic and busy. I don't know it could also just be that I haven't been motivated to post anything. Whoever is reading thanks for visiting my page and taking the time to read my post. Until next time hope everyone is enjoying the end of summer.

The Princess Bride

Big congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Blech

(continuation of my Germany trip)
Day 2: Sister's civil marriage

In german traditional weddings it is custom to have a civil marriage before your church wedding. So, my sister's civil marriage took place at Gleiberg Castle. The castle sits on top of a hill and the view is breath-taking. From the distance you can also see the other twin castle. The ceremony was very small and it was more a family matter. My sister looks so happy and of course beautiful. I actually bought her dress from Ann Taylor and did her hair and makeup.

So, the 3rd picture is my lil brother isn't he handsome lol. Anyways, I just wanted to show ya'll the beautiful view from up top. The next picture is the princess bride and groom and there silly witnesses.

where have you been ..

Hello, everyone I know it's been awhile since I posted anything on my blog and I apologize in advance. I just haven't got a chance to blog due to lack of topics, work overload, and of course I was on vacation. That's right! I went to Europe for a week to attend my older sister's wedding and I have tons of pictures I would love to share. So .. yay!!! finally something worth posting but I won't be posting everything so my Europe posts will be split throughout this week. Just stay tuned for more ...

Day1 :
My parents rented two cute country cottages that was on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful fields of Germany. I just love Germany I actually grew up there for 10years before heading to the states.

3LW (3 little women)

Excuse the low quality pictures .. i didn't get to use my DSLR camera .. instead we used a regular digi camera because well it was easier to carry around.  Anyways, not sure if you were reading my previous posts but my childhood best friend was in town last weekend. I just wanted to share a few pics with you guys. It was my friend's last night and we wanted to have a special girl's dinner. We were in the mood for italian food so we headed to Little Italy for dinner.

There's too many italian restaurants to choose from when your in Little Italy. Frankly, I think there all the same so we just randomly picked a restaurant. We decided to try II Piccolo Bufalo this particular restaurant caught our eye just because of the exposed brick decor and $9 entree special.

Dee ordered spaghetti and meatballs (those balls were massive), Ai had Spinach Gnocchi Bolognese, and I had spaghetti carbonara.

Another amazing vintage finding : a mint color arm sleeve buttoned-up shirt

Fair's & Beer's

This past saturday was insanely a windy day in new york. Me and the best friend decided to check out the St. Mark Street fair and do some thrift/vintage store shopping. I couldn't really enjoy the street vendors or let alone take pictures just because of how strong the wind was blowing. Besides the hurricane winds it was really a beautiful sunny day and it was such a great way to spend the afternoon with the b.f.f.

After checking out the vendors and shopping (which by the way I managed to snag a very unique mint shirt for $10 which i'll have to post later) we met up with my friend at a local sport bar called Village Pour House. This place sells all types of beer like Abita Beer (crafted beer made in Louisiana) which is a pretty damn good beer. I skipped the Abita and ordered a Hoegaarden Beer and a Smokehouse burger. The burger of course was delicious. The beer was perfect. Another great afternoon with friends :)
