City Paradise

Jeans: Mango Shirt + Faux Fur + Belt: H&M Flats: Nine West Sunnies: Thrifted

Central Park is my all time favorite place in New York City. I can spend hours just wandering around
aimlessly. It's truly a great place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. A few friends came to visit me
and as requested they wanted to explore Central Park. I was more than happy to show them this lovely
paradise. We started from 59th street on the west side and walked through all the hot spots. The
most prominent location in my opinion would be the Bethesda area. I just love all the architectural
features such as the grand staircase, ceiling tiles, beautiful columns, and of course the fountain. I've created
a bucket list of things to do before I move and it just happened that renting a boat at central park is one. In
an effort to kill two bird with one stone I convinced my friends to rent a boat so we can enjoy the city
views. I am definitely going to miss Central Park when I move.
I wanted to share the last two pics of the yummy and huge macarons from Bouchon Bakery. Can you
believe it's almost the size of our palm. One macaron for me is good enough to crave my macaron fix.
The cost for these babies are $3.50 per macaron. I love the pistachio but I also got to try the featured
flavor of the month "pumpkin". The pumpkin was very thanksgiving-ish and it was delicious.

The Blues

Jeans: Mango Chambray: H&M Shirt: Zara Shoes: Toms Purse: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Necklace: Forever21 Sunnies: Thrifted

Sorry I been M.I.A the hubster and I got ill last week so I had to take some time off from blogging.
Before we got sick we did manage to do a date night. I wanted to take my hubster to a popular
ramen joint called Ippudo. Though Ippudo is known for there ramen I was pretty excited for the
pork belly buns. I just can't get enough of the yummy pork belly flavor inside a steamed bun.
The place gets very busy especially during rush hours. An expected wait time can run up to 2 hours.
I suggest checking the restaurant either lunch time after 2pm or dinner time right when it opens
at 5pm. If your not a big fan of ramen like I am the restaurant offers hot/cold dishes during dinner.

DAF: Codex Dynamic

Last week I attended the Dumbo Arts Festival in downtown Brooklyn. It's a 3 day
event that allows local, national, and international artists to showcase their artwork. About
500 artists particpate yearly and the festival attracts about 200,000 visitors. It was my first
time attending the festival but I mainly came to watch the Codex Dynamic.

The Codex Dynamic is basicly a video projection exhibition that is showcase in the interior
and archway of the Manhattan Bridge. The concept of the video is on man's relationship
with time, space, and effect. I was not sure what to expect but I was captivated with the whole
presentation. It was the coolest thing I ever got to witnessed and the entire setting was breath-
taking. I found this video on Youtube so check it out ...
